Emergency Knot

When you're new to breaking calves to lead on a halter, getting the halter on and tying it off safely are the two main concerns.  

**NEVER** tie off a cow or calf in a knot that can't be released easily.  They can become seriously injured or even die.

This is the method I use.  It's not the only way, but I've been successful using this.
